We produce a lot of waste. Plastic waste ends up in landfills as we continue to extract limited resources from the earth to create new materials. One research shows that the waste produced by umbrellas alone each year is sufficient to build 25 Eiffel Towers. In the making of Urbanella our aim was to not use any virgin material. Our fabric, zippers and cords are made from recycled yarns, weaving new life into materials that are otherwise wasted.
